Bryce
J. Burns, Chairman of Raining Data commented, " We continue
to meet our primary objective following the acquisition of PickAX,
which is to operate at positive cash flow while we integrate
the technologies of Omnis Technology and Pick Systems. We expect
mvDesigner, which is our newest product announced in May at
our Worldwide User Conference in Long Beach, California, to
continue to work its way into the multivalue marketplace in
the coming months. This product combines the latest innovations
from Omnis and Pick to provide our expanded base of customers
with the technology they need to extend their existing applications
to a graphical user interface (GUI) and the Web. Feedback from
the initial users of mvDesigner has been very encouraging."
mvDesigner
is a rapid application development (RAD) tool which brings an
elegant graphical user interface (GUI) and object-oriented development
methodology to the multivalue database market. mvDesigner also
simplifies the transition to an event-driven programming environment
for a multivalue developer, while allowing the preservation
of existing investment in business rules (program logic) and
database design. In addition, mvDesigner applications can be
deployed to thick, thin, or even ultra-thin client environments.
