Gwyneth Gibbs Returns to Raining Data as Vice President, Europe

IRVINE, CA., October 9, 2001- Raining Data Corporation (Nasdaq: RDTA - news) today announced the appointment of Gwyneth Gibbs as Vice President, Europe. Gwyneth has over twenty years of experience in information technology, software product development, systems integration and product marketing. During the past seven years, Gibbs managed Omnis Software's Engineering function, was President of Omnis Technology Corporation until the merger with Pick Systems, and subsequently spent six months as Vice President of European Operations for Raining Data Corporation.
