New Pick User Group! - Raining Data is very excited to announce that we will be holding quarterly Pick user group meetings at our corporate headquarters in Irvine, California. These meetings are product-focused workshops exclusively designed to provide our Pick developers in-depth technical training and a better understanding of how to administrate the Pick system. Pick user group meetings are FREE! The structure is informal, and questions are encouraged. Space is limited and your attendance must be confirmed in advance through our registration page. Our inaugural Pick user group meeting is being held Saturday morning, May 22, 2004 on the topic of FlashCONNECT. In addition, we are holding a Rookie Boot Camp on Friday afternoon, May 21, 2004. An mvEnterprise Installation Revisited - In January 2002, Mikron, a manufacturer of custom-designed PVC lineals for the vinyl window and door industry, converted to mvEnterprise running on RS/6000 servers. Today, the system is running strong. Read the testimonial.

D3 AIX 7.4.1 – Released April 8, 2004 - This release offers improved performance through the new 4 KB frame size, in addition to enhancements to the overall performance and functionality of the product. For further details, please view the Documentation on our Web site. Note: Check your OS prior to installing D3 AIX 7.4.1. This release is only compatible with AIX 5L version 5.2.0.10 or later.

D3 MQSeries Server Interface 2.1 – Released April 8, 2004 - D3 MQSeries Application Programming Interface (API) and components are used to enable different applications running on heterogeneous operating systems and business applications to exchange data using messages and queues. Note: Currently, D3 MQSeries 2.1 is only compatible with the D3 AIX 7.4.1 release.

D3 Oracle Gateway 2.1 – Released April 8, 2004 - D3 Oracle Gateway is a middleware solution for D3 and Oracle integration. This driver delivers a transparent transport mechanism that allows accessing Oracle data to become as easy as accessing D3 data. Note: Currently, D3 Oracle Gateway 2.1 is only compatible with the D3 AIX 7.4.1 release.

D3 NT 7.4 – Released March 10, 2004 - In this latest update, D3 NT 7.4 has increased the VME frame size, changing it from 2K to 4K. There are also enhancements to the VME to handle virtual addressing space larger than 2GB. For more detailed product information, please visit the Documentation pages on our Web site.

D3 Linux 7.4.1 – Released March 3, 2004 - In this latest Minor Release update, D3 Linux 7.4.1 brings compatibility with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0 (WS, ES, or AS), as well as enhancements to the overall performance and functionality of the product. For further details, please view the Documentation pages on our Web site. Note: Check your OS prior to installing D3 Linux 7.4.1. This release is only compatible with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0 (WS, ES, or AS) and will not work with Red Hat Linux 9.0 or any prior release. Raining Data currently has no plans to resell the Enterprise edition.

FlashCONNECT 3.3 – Released January 21, 2004 - This latest Minor Release brings enhancements to the overall performance and functionality of the product and combines a collection of patches and product fixes reported to our technical support department. Omnis Studio a Top Contender for Linux - Omnis Studio was recently nominated and short-listed for 'Best Linux Developer Tool' in the LinuxUser & Developer Awards 2004. The LinuxUser & Developer Awards were held in conjunction with the LinuxUser & Developer Expo (LUDEX) 2004 which took place in London on April 20th-21st. The awards are for best Linux products and services in various categories. The winners were selected by the judges from nominations by readers of LinuxUser & Developer magazine.
