Server / E-mail Discussion Groups
Our
users have been asking for discussion forums for our products
and now they're here! Raining Data Corporation is proud
to introduce several user discussion groups that will
focus on specific areas of interest.
Groups
Available
To
subscribe to groups, send a text/plain e-mail to the appropriate
request manager. The links below can be used to launch
your e-mail program to send the request. (If you are unable
to use our links to launch your e-mail, use the e-mail
information from browser's status bar that appears when
you run your mouse over the link.) The subject line is
ignored.
Be
sure the word subscribe is the only word in the
first line of the e-mail body; no other information should
be in the e-mail body, including signatures.
Note:
Please do not use HTML formatted e-mails to subscribe
to the server. AOL 6.0 uses HTML by default. If your subscription
fails or you'd like more information, please see the "FAQs"
on this topic.

Frequently
Asked Questions (FAQ)
These
groups are e-mail based, maintained by a list-server.
Here are the FAQs about
the format and other matters.
The
Multivalue community has an open Usenet Newsgroup, comp.databases.pick.
This group has been and continues to be a central location
for discussions related to all products based on the Pick
database model, including Raining Data products. The groups
provided here at Raining Data are not intended to replace
comp.databases.pick, but to supplement the information
found there, facilitate very focused inquiries and discussion
on specific Raining Data products, provide alternate access
(e-mail vs usenet) to community-based product discussions,
and also to provide a more direct and official channel
for information from Raining Data to our customer base.
We encourage "community-oriented" participation in comp.databases.pick
in addition to the "content-oriented" forums provided
here.
