The mvDesigner IDE enables building a GUI that uses D3 business rules. Acrobat is provided free by Adobe Systems, which is located on our Web site at: http://www.rainingdata.com/support/documentation/index.html ********************************************************************** MVDESIGNER CLIENT UPGRADE PROCESS To retain your Enterprise Browser set up (servers configured and so on), copy the mvd_cfg.df1 file from the mvDesigner folder of your existing installation before an mvDesigner upgrade. To retain your mvDesigner configuration (window set up, general properties, and serial number), copy omnis.cfg from the Studio folder. If the files are not copied, you are prompted for the details when mvDesigner is first run. Libraries automatically upgrade when they are first opened. ********************************************************************** WEB CLIENT INSTALLATION ON WINDOWS 32BIT PLATFORMS Installation programs for the Omnis Web Client are located in the \Win32\webclient\ folder. Internet Explorer users install omwebie.exe Netscape users install omwebns.exe The omwebie.exe and omwebns.exe files contain all files and components that are used by the Web Client. These are provided to enable developers to create custom Web Client installation if required.
