w3Monitor monitors the number of connections that are free and in use. Adds and removes connections as specified in the w3Config file. Please see the FlashCONNECT Installation, Administrator's and Programmer's Guides for more information about this utility.

Connections started on regular ports (not phantoms) are not automatically deleted from the w3Line entry if the port is in use, even if the port is not running FlashCONNECT. Every time a server pool/Web host are checked, but not more often than every 5 minutes, the configuration entries are reread. Changes take effect the next time the server pool and Web host are checked. |
