Windows & D³ ODBC Startup

On some systems running Windows 2000 or Windows XP, and running the D³ ODBC service, the users cannot log in to the D³ system. This is usually caused by the D³ ODBC service starting before the D³ Virtual Machine service has started.

To correct this, change the Startup parameter of the D3 ODBC Server to Manual and add the following to your USER-COLDSTART:

!net start D³ODBCSV

Services will show that the D³ ODBC service is started. You should be able to make an ODBC connection to the D³ system at this point. Also a !net start will show that the D³ ODBC service is started.
