Windows & D³ ODBC Startup

On some systems running Windows 2000 or Windows XP, and running D³ ODBC service, the users cannot login to the D³ system. This is usually caused by the D³ ODBC service starting before the D³ Virtual Machine service has started.

To correct this, change the Startup parameter to Manual add the following to your USER-COLDSTART

!net start "D³ ODBC "

Notice that there is a space after ODBC. Services will NOT show that the D³ ODBC service is started. However, you should be able to make an ODBC connection to the D³ system. Also a net start will show that the D³ ODBC service is started.
